The U

In the heart of University Place you’ll find our newest residence hall, The U. This air-conditioned, suite-style building offers a variety of floor plans and features stylish study desks, extra-long twin beds, and plenty of closet space. Residents have access to large television lounges, game rooms and a reception area. There are also many RA and hall council events that allow students to get to know their neighbors.

The Rivet

The Rivet offers a unique opportunity for students to learn new skills in the areas of ceramics, woodworking, laser cutting and 3-D printing. The classes are led by experts, who are committed to providing high-quality professional development. The classes are offered by appointment, and many are free to members. The class schedule is constantly evolving, and it is important to check in with the staff to see what is available.

Residents at the Rivet will be able to enjoy life on their own terms with a host of game-changing lifestyle amenities, including private parking, a community lounge with flatscreen TV and a kitchenette, and a roof deck. In addition, the building is located within walking distance of a light rail stop and shopping centers, making it easy to get around. Moreover, residents will be able to pay their rent and submit maintenance requests through the secure resident portal. The building is also pet-friendly, and a variety of schools are nearby.

Cityline Apartments

The apartments for rent in Cityline are curated to fit your lifestyle and come with the latest in comfort and design. They are located within walking distance of local, independently owned shops and restaurants. It is also close to the Metro Transit light rail station, giving you easy access to downtown, MSP Airport and beyond.

West Campus Village

Students at NJCU are in for a treat when they move into West Campus Village. This new apartment community is a place that blends education and community living. The apartments are a mixture of single and double-occupancy units. The amenities include a music room, fitness center, convenience dining and conference meeting rooms. Students will also have access to WiFi, study lounges and community laundry.

The community offers two and three-bedroom townhomes with furnished living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms. Each unit includes a washer and dryer. It is located on the south side of campus near the baseball field and equestrian barn. It is about a fifteen-minute walk to the heart of campus.

The apartment community is pet friendly with zero breed restrictions. Students are charged a total rent amount that is typically divided into 12 equal installments, which coincide with the academic calendar. The installments are billed to the student’s Ubill account each semester. The rates are listed per apartment and are based on whether the person is renting the entire apartment by themselves or with a roommate.
